The great thing about Guadalmina is that it has an abundance of bars & restaurants to choose from along with a supermarket and several banks not forgetting the golf courses, but still remaining relatively peaceful. It has become popular over the years with people that want a more relaxed atmosphere but still having the advantage of being 5 minutes’ drive from the hustle and bustle of Puerto Banús.
Guadalmina is split into 2 areas, one is Alta the other is Baja which means high and low, Guadalmina Alta is close to the Barceló hotel just 40 minutes from Málaga Airport and close by some of the best golf courses in Southern Europe.
Guadalmina Baja is the beach side of Guadalmina constructed in the 1960’s and was still being developed right up into the year 2000’s, the local beach is playa Guadalmina often awarded the blue flag for cleanliness, which is approx..1km long, it’s a quiet family beach and locals tend to use this one as its away from the tourists.
